Our next project will be two single family homes in Lincoln City. We are currently in the homeowner selection phase of the project. Once homeowners have been selected, we’ll know how many bedrooms we need for each home and will begin the design process. We anticipate breaking ground early in 2021.
Construction is now complete on our most recent build, with two new town homes in Newport. It has been great to build alongside our partner families, community volunteers, and Luckini Construction. Final exterior work on the sidewalk will be completed in November, 2020.
Luckini Construction has been an integral part of this build and we could not have finished this project without their support. Justin Luckini assigned a crew to help us finish the build at no cost to Habitat. He coordinated subcontractors and helped negotiate discounted services and products. We cannot thank Justin and Luckini Construction enough for their phenomenal assistance.
Construction is completed on the single family rehab in Siletz in 2015. Volunteer General Contractor John Robinson directed this home build along with many of our veteran volunteers, including Angell Job Corps students. The completed rehab was sold to the Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County homeowner through a 30 year, zero-percent loan.
Construction is completed on two single family homes in Waldport. Volunteer General Contractor Joe Vandehey guided these home builds along with many faithful volunteers, including Angell Job Corp students. These homes were sold to the following families through a 30 year, zero-percent loan.
Habitat for Humanity homes are not free: monthly mortgage payments, paid to Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln is what helps to keep our building program sustainable.
Please join us in thanking the Bacon, Lundy and Pankey families for selling this property to Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County at a much reduced cost.
To donate land to HFHLC, or to volunteer on our next home build, please give us a call. There are many ways to volunteer or donate to construction projects. You can donate materials and services, work on a work crew, coordinate refreshments for existing work crews or provide monetary assistance.
