Volunteer

Habitat for Humanity is a grassroots, community based organization that relies on local volunteers to build homes and hope in Lincoln County.  There are many ways to become involved in Habitat's work. Volunteers can help in one or more of the following areas:

  • Construction volunteer: Please join us during any of the schedule work days, or please notify us if you have a group of friends, co-workers, or are part of an organization or church who would like to schedule a work party.
  • Volunteer supporter: Not comfortable swingin a hammer?  You or a group can help support the construction crew by bringing drinks and snacks.
  • Committee volunteers: Our committees support vital aspects of Habitat's program including family selection, family support, special events, marketing and communications, faith relations, construction and site acquisition, outreach, and fundraising.
  • Office volunteers: We always need help with database entry and general office support.
  • ReStore: Please join us as we develop and start a ReStore in Lincoln County.  Those experienced in business planning and retail are needed as we start this new venture.
  • Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County is looking for teachers, parents, and volunteers to help implement a Youth Program for 5-18 year olds.
